ABOUT

Hi! I’m Meaghan Wilson. 

My passion is bringing news and entertainment to life in the digital world. My career has been fueled by my love of documentary stories. While I pursued my own filmmaking – ask me about the monks of Vina, California – I was lucky enough to land roles at PBS HQ and The NewsHour, FRONTLINE, and News Corp’s The Daily. There, I learned how to translate complex journalism into digital experiences. 

At HBO, I began as producer of Digital & Social Media and grew to Vice President of Digital Production and Editorial Strategy. Along the way, I managed a team of 25 producers and editors. As a leader, I put people first. I prioritize connecting with my team as individuals, so I can meet them where they’re at. I’m equally comfortable in the weeds or at the starting line, where I set clear expectations and let the team go.

Over the years, I’ve led cross-functional digital marketing campaigns for Game of Thrones, Westworld, Watchmen and Silicon Valley, among others. My work has been recognized with multiple Webby, PromaxBDA and Clio awards and has garnered four Emmy nominations. 

Originally from Virginia, I’m currently a New Yorker. Over my years in the city, I’ve completed 4 triathlons – including dips in the Hudson River! I live in Brooklyn where I am a mom to an adorable dog and an amazing daughter.
