The Defiant Ones: Series Campaign

To promote The Defiant Ones, the four-part documentary chronicling the rise of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine to the top of the music industry, HBO launched DefiantOnes.com. The digital experience celebrated the series’ central themes, inviting users to “Show Their Defiance” by creating bespoke videos and Snapchat content in the bold Defiant Ones visual style. Fans were in good company; the site also featured interviews with fresh voices at SXSW and Coachella, including Lizzo and Kevin Durant. 

Role: Led team of producers responsible for execution of website build, influencer campaign, as well as experiential and AR activations.
